Function: This is the outer plastic shell (cap/casing) of a Backflow Protector. It holds the inner silicone diaphragm securely in place to form an airtight seal and prevent milk or condensation from entering the tubing or pump motor.

Design & Fit: Round, disk-shaped rigid casing featuring a side connector nozzle. The nozzle directly attaches to the silicone air tubing.

Material: Made from durable, lightweight, BPA-free, food-grade Polypropylene (PP) plastic.

Maintenance: Easy to disassemble, wash with warm soapy water, and sterilize. Replace if cracks appear or if the connection with the diaphragm becomes loose, as air leaks will reduce pump suction.
